Costa Rica is famous for the warmth and the happiness of its people.

In this program, you can be part of a local family and their everyday life, learning about the Costa Rican gastronomy during the food preparation. The majority of the families have plantations at the properties so you can also learn about the harvesting process, meet their animals, like chickens, cows, pigs, and of course at least one dog.

As we mentioned, in Costa Rica many rural families plant crops and have animals such as chickens and cows in order to have on their table, fresh milk, and homemade eggs. This as an example of our identity as “Ticos.”

Also, you will have the chance to learn more Spanish or feel the challenge to communicate with the family, which is a memorable memory always!!
